Story
After losing my hair quite suddenly in 2018 to Alopecia, I wanted to give something back - and felt raising money for a charity close to my heart would be a good place to start.
After the hair on my head fell in two weeks, I was absolutely devastated. With the rest of the ‘trimmings’ following closely afterwards, my diagnosis progressed to Alopecia Universalis which is one of the most extreme forms of Alopecia. Whilst medically I was deemed well, I had never felt so lost. I didn’t recognise my face in the mirror.
Alopecia U.K. provide support to individuals affected by Alopecia. Talking to someone who truly understands what it’s like, can mean more than anything.
I want to support this charity, so they can continue to do their excellent work: supporting, raising awareness and improving the lives of those living with Alopecia.
Im not a natural born runner, so don’t expect speed. But would be incredibly grateful for your support. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
