On Thursday 25th June I will be walking along the canal from Manchester (nr Piccadilly) to Todmorden!

I have been volunteering at the animal centre for around 4 years and have adopted 2 cats from the RSPCA in Rochdale!

When 1 of the industrial washing machines broke I started taking the animal bedding home- washed and dried it before taking it back and taking another load!

Then disaster struck and the 2nd washing machine broke, I started taking even more washing home to help  out! and this is when I came up with the idea of doing a sponsored walk to raise money to replace the dilapidated machines which cost around £1,000 to buy from new.
