Story

Thanks for taking the time to have a look at this page.

I've decided to have a go at doing the 100km Great Dublin Bike Ride this year on Sunday 24th September in aid of the Irish Kidney Association.

The main reason for taking this on is to remember a good friend and boss in Padraic Carney who sadly passed away in June. He was a lover of cycling and a kidney donor so this is a small way to remember him and hopefully contribute some good.

If anyone has anything at all that they can donate it will be greatly appreciated.

Rest assured that any donation will be earned through sore legs over a number of hours work on September 24th!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

We work to meet the needs of people and their families living with and affected by end-stage kidney disease, on dialysis and post-transplant. From valuable donations and fundraisers we can provide services such as counselling, financial aid, the use of a patient support centre and patient holidays.
