This year the UCL Biochemical Engineering postgraduate society, Beaker, is organising ‘Movember’.

A large number of postgraduate students, post doctoral researchers and academic staff including our head of department, Nigel Titchener-Hooker, will be attempting to grow moustaches throughout November and then judged at the end of the month.  Female members will not be missing out, with many agreeing to wear a moustache on the last day (and for the whole day). 

We are doing this for Engineers Without Borders UK, a fantastic charity which aims to resolve many worldwide development issues using engineering-based solutions.  For more information on Engineers Without Borders UK click here:
