Dan was one of the kindest, friendly, most genuine people I have ever met. I knew Dan throughout school but only really got to know him since the start of sixth form, he never failed to make us laugh or smile and the empty seat next to Tom and I in maths is truly devastating, it's still not sunk in and I still can't believe you're gone, but I'm grateful for the short time I had to get to know you. I struggle to express my emotion in words so I have decided to do Chester Half Marathon in memory of Dan and hope to raise money for MeningitisNow who help fund research and spread awareness of meningitis. Jamie Waite will also be running with me and ny small donation would be much appreciated by us both and go a long way, thank you. Rest in peace Dan.
