Story
Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice needs your support to keep the The Benidorm Beatles afloat! We're taking part in the Benidorm or Bust 2018 car challenge! Lovingly restored and converted 'Rita' will be transporting Ady, Dean, Chris, Charli & Lou on the 5 day, 1400 mile journey down through Calais, Rouen, Tours via Le Mans, Biarritz & Madrid to hopefully (!!) arrive in Benidorm! The only snag is Rita was once a stretched limo and will become a yellow submarine 😳!
The team have covered all the costs for taking part in this event from entry fee, Rita's purchase, car conversion, travel and accommodation etc. Every single penny you give will go directly to help contribute towards the phenomenonal care the Hospice provides to around 300 amazing children and young adults aged between 0-19 years of age with progressive life-shortening conditions.
Chestnut Tree House also offers support for the whole family including psychological and bereavement support, end of life and short break care and sibling support.
It costs well over £3.5m each year to provide all the essential care services provided by Chestnut Tree House. Families are never charged for their care and less than 7p in every pound is funded by the government, so they rely on local generosity to help and support the people of Sussex.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and please help us support the children, young people and their families through their incredibly challenging journey.
We'll keep you posted as Rita evolves and our journey begins!
