Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Myself and my close-friends (Susan Walmsley, Martin Cottam and Lily Walmsley Cottam) are taking part in the Rosemere 'Walk in the Dark' 2019, which is an 11 mile walk, taking place from Chorley Hospital to the Royal Preston Hospital. We will start at 9pm - and expect to finish the route at around 1am.

My personal fundraising goal is £1. I have set it to £1 because even a pound makes such a difference to this amazing charity. Rosemere is based at the Royal Preston Hospital, and 'work in partnership with local clinical staff to provide care for cancer patients in Lancashire and South Cumbria' (quoted from https://rosemere.org.uk/about-us)

Donations for this event can be made through my personal JustGiving page, or cash donations are welcome personally - as I have a '£1 collection tube' which will hold 20x £1 coins when full. Donations are gratefully received by myself and the charity - and will go towards the work of the charity.

More details of the 'Walk in the Dark' can be found here: https://rosemere.org.uk/events-appeals/event/walk-in-the-dark-2019-664/

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
