In memory of John Dixon
We raise funds for disabled tennis players to help them to play a great sport

Story

John was appointed to the Berkshire LTA Committee in 1991 for two years.  He was re-appointed in 2002 and has served on the Committee ever since.  John had a great love of tennis and could always be relied on for answers to any queries regarding the Leagues and Rules.

John was the Chair of the Berkshire League Committee and for his responsibilities in overseeing both the Berkshire Winter League, and the National League (formerly Team Tennis), for both adults and juniors.

About the charity

The Trust raises funds for disabled people who play tennis - wheelchair, deaf, learning disabilities and the visually impaired. Sport can be life-changing for a person with a disability and tennis provides physical wellbeing and social opportunities as well as competition for those who want it.
