Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Besstel Foundation in collaboration with Ghana Mental Health Authority, has been consistently supporting the mental health sector in Ghana to minimise stigmatisation in order to promote quality mental health recovery models.

The foundation has been in this service for the past five years through the following facilities and organisations being beneficiaries:

1. Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital.

2. Accra Psychiatric Hospital.

3. 37 Military Hospital.

4. Ghana Prisons Service.

5. Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association.

6. Prefos Co. Ltd.

7. Franko Trading Ent.

8. Rotary Club.

9. Holy Child Sec. Sch. (Cape Coast)

The foundation sponsors mental health practitioners and consultants from United Kingdom to Ghana every October as volunteers to render their services to the nation.

This year October Besstel Foundation aim to provide mental health hubs in some regions of Ghana for local communities to have access and support for their mental well-being.

In 2019 Besstel Foundation successfully opened their first community club in Kasoa now named “Kasoa Community Club” this is for the local community to support each other and come together as one in times of need.

In May 2023 Kasoa Community Club charity shop was officially launched by the Besstel Patron Mr Peter Hasler and the team.

Your efforts to support the operational cost whilst our volunteers are in the country, will be very much appreciated.
