I have suffered from Morton’s Neuroma for 6 years which is inflammation on the nerve in your feet. This has caused pain not only when exercising but walking and resting. This has seriously impacted on my life however I am now at the stage where I start exercising. I am currently training to run 5k.

I am raising money for a local charity that I work for. I work with children with additional needs supporting their development, giving joy to their lives and supporting their families. CHIPS provide integrated playschemes for children with special
needs and their siblings who live in the council districts of East Hertfordshire and the borough of Broxbourne.

We organise playschemes across the two districts on Saturdays and during school holidays. We also organise trips, Christmas Parties, a support group for parents. CHIPS will never turn a child away and will always support a child to have fun giving them a fulfilled life.
