Story

Hello world and thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our names are Bethany, Kim, Lucy, Natasha, Sian and Siofra, and as a group of 6 we are undertaking the ‘1083 mile Lands End to John O’Groats Virtual Fitness Challenge’!

Although we cannot make the physical journey from Lands End to John O’Groats, over the next 3 months we each plan to walk, run, cycle, swim, roll or tumble 12 miles each week to collectively cover the distance between these 2 points. We will be virtually walking together through Whatsapp and maintaining social distancing rules consistently.

Whilst we are excited to be taking on this challenge, we are even more excited to be doing this in aid of the Young Persons Advisory Service (YPAS) in Liverpool in order to raise money for this incredible cause. YPAS provides mental health and emotional wellbeing services for Children, Young People and Families across Liverpool. We believe this is a crucial service providing support that is invaluable to many individuals.

A bit more about YPAS:
YPAS provides counselling and therapy for a variety of issues (self harm, abuse, domestic violence, depression, bereavement). They also provide practical support and group therapy addressing wider needs such as self esteem, employability, life skills, anger management, parenting and LGBT projects.

We are excited to be embarking on this challenge as a team of friends and would be incredibly grateful for any money you could spare to support such a brilliant charity.

We will be updating this page with pictures and shoutouts to document our journey!
