Throughout December our school community has been raising money for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. We have organised our first WinterFest, a month of fundraising activities including a staff goal shooting contest, sponsored cycling, a Winter Fayre and much more. Everyone has been very generous and we have already raised over a thousand pounds.

We want to raise more! With your help we would like to reach our target of £2500. 

Today our students have released a Christmas DVD called Little Love Mix. With a heartfelt message sung by the BGA choir and featuring our students, Little Love Mix is the perfect gift to share with friends and family this festive season.

The DVD is on sale at Bethnal Green Academy and will soon be available on YouTube. All proceeds from sales and donations will go, via DEC, to the people of the Philippines who have been so badly affected by the Typhoon disaster.
