Fundraising for Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer
Story
Once again the Chamber is inviting its patrons, members, staff and supporters to leave their offices early for an afternoon in July in an effort to raise funds for its President’s chosen charity for the year, Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer.
Following its highly successful charity pantomime horse race two years a go and last year’s School Sports Day, this year sees charity fund-raisers working as a team to search for treasure. Each year, the event has become better supported and this year we hope to set a ‘new record’ in terms of the number of participants.
The event takes place on Friday 30 July from 1pm with a 4.30pm finish. The event will start at the Chamber with a short treasure hunt briefing.
Like previous years, we hope to raise a good amount of money for a very worthwhile cause.
