Event: St Luke's Hospice (Harrow And Brent) - Midnight Walk 2010, on 11 June 2010
We help people facing terminal illness to have the best quality of life possible

Story

St Luke's Hospice is an independent charity serving the multi-cultural/ethnic community of Harrow and Northern Brent. Their mission statement is to provide specialist palliative care free of charge to people with advanced, progressive illnesses, which addresses their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs thus enhancing their quality of life and supporting their families and carers.

Having a very close member of my family being diagnosed with brain cancer, only now can I appreciate the work that these wonderful charities do. They have been fantastic in the support and care they have provided.

I will be doing a Midnight Walk, which takes place on Friday 11 June to raise money for this great charity. The night kicks off at 10:30pm at Harrow Leisure Centre, before the we set off on the nine mile route which passes through Harrow Weald, Stanmore, Kingsbury and Kenton. Any amount of money raised towards this great charity will help it continue to provide the care and services in the future.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank-you for taking the time to visit my page. Please make a donation now, big or small, to help support this worthwhile cause.
