FamilyLives (formerly Parentline Plus) supports families online, via a helpline, and face to face.  It provides free confidential support to parents on any issue, but particularly for concerns where parents are unlikely to talk to statutory services in the first instance e.g. abuse, teenagers, divorce, bullying, children's challenging behaviour - helping them to work out next steps.  Answering 100,000 calls/year it is particulalry well used by those who are isolated.  Their key message is that we all struggle from time to time and that it is a sign of strength to seek support.
