Fundraising for Bootstrap Company
Story
The very first Bootstrap Company Fun Run is taking place on Saturday 28th March, 2015 in East London's most beautiful green space - Victoria Park.
CAUSE: Bootstrap Company was setup in 1977 to provide startup space and enterprise support for local people. We run the innovative education programme Bootstrap Campus - to provide a pathway for local 16-24 yr olds to get into work. We do this through running workshops, creating work placement opportunities and we have just launched a 'enterprise hub' to support young entrepreneurs.
With your help - we want to dramatically increase the scale of this work creating more opportunities for local young professionals to transition into work.
Sara Turnbull, Bootstrap CEO, "There is still high inequality and high youth unemployment in Hackney. Bootstrap are working to create a space and structure for local young people to connect with Hackneys buzzing new creative economy."
None of this would be possible without FUNDS. Your support will be vital in helping Bootstrap deliver our social mission.
Lets all get fit, have fun, and raise funds! A wonderful chance for everyone in the extended Bootstrap community to get together and celebrate health, happiness and wellbeing! Whether you're a tenant, a Bootstrap Campus resident, a Dalston Roof Park lover, a supporter of Bootstrap, fitness fanatic or first timer - this run is for you!
We aim to raise £10,000, and need your running help to do it!
