Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page.  Let me tell you how you can help Boro Bear and Dave Smith do something amazing in 2013.

We've got the opportunity to go with 20 other volunteers to Nakuru, one of the most deprived areas of Kenya, for two weeks from Monday 27th May.  Our aim is to contribute to the work of the charity african Adventures who undertake community transforming projects which try to improve the lives of people who are not as fortunate as some of us.

In Nakuru, volunteers will take part in teaching, cooking, building a football pitch and coaching football and Boro Bear will, of course, bring that little bit of mascot magic to everyone.  This is why it is so important to help send us on our way by donating whatever you can to help us reach our total of £2,000.00.

But this money will do more that help families in Nakuru, part of the money raised will also transform lives here in Stevenage through the work of Stevenage FC in the Community whose aim is to create the Club's first disability team and also provide more opportunities for local disabled children to participate in a variety of sports.

As you can see, your donation will help to transform lives in and around Stevenage as well as in Nakuru, Kenya.  And we know it will transform ours too.
