Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
When our boy was around 18 months old we started to notice that he wasn't hitting some of his milestones, and also starting to regress is some of the ones he had hit already. At 2 we took him to the doctors and from there we had a long long wait. We understand the NHS is overwhelmed and dont have the resources available to meet everybody's needs. Eventually being referred to caudwell children we had to wait less than just a few months from when we were referred and they were able to give us the diagnosis. This was at age 6. So 4 years after we first went to the doctors. We've spoken to other parents who have been waiting much longer. So this is the reason I chose to run for caudwell children for the london marathon. I ran the Potters half marathon in June 2023 where I was able to raise £1000. For London I need to raise £2500 so anything that anybody can spare would help me out massively and be much appreciated. I have already made a donation of £100 and it is a charity that I already support through a monthly donation.
