We will be undertaking a 7 day trek to the top of Kilimanjaro the highest point in Africa. The trek will take place between the 7-13 July. The aim of my trek is to help raise funds for the next phase of a build project in the Zulu area of Kwa Ximba near Durban in South Africa which will take place in April 2020. In previous build projects Lionsraw has built a school and additional classrooms and toilet facilities. The next project will involve the building of a community/school hall, improvements to the water and waste management systems and the provision of sports facilities such as football and netball for the schoolchildren. The Kwa Ximba area is a very poor area which has one of the highest HIV rates in the world and receives very little help locally. The aim of the project is to improve the lives of the schoolchildren through the provision of better facilities and also a feeding program. Any donation you can make will be greatly received and make a huge difference.

100% of all donations will go directly to the build project with the cost of the Kilimanjaro trek and the trip to South Africa for the build being borne by the volunteers themselves.
