Although I live on the other side of the country, through a family connection (my daughter-in-law is a fundraiser) I have come to know and support Headway Devon, a charity set up to help people with acquired brain injures.

Based in the City of Exeter, the charity has a wonderful facility there, including a garden that is currently being refurbished. Headway Devon's mascot is 'Brian the brain' (that's him pictured above) so please help me (the other Brian) mark my retirement with a contribution to the garden make over. 

I would also like to mention that my brother-in-law Alan passed away earlier in the year (sadly, just months after retiring). The money raised will be donated in his memory.

So, an opportunity not only to help fund a facility that will enhance the lives of those less fortunate but also to celebrate the life of a true gentleman, Alan J Foreman (1950-2016).
