Bryony and Adam spent the 14th and 15th September conducting a charity car wash and bake sale to raise money for BACE. Over that weekend we washed in excess of 30 cars and with the support of the community in Elmsett have currently raised £479.60 for the charity so far. 

We do not go to The Gambia until March 2020, if you were unable to attend the car wash or would like to donate to the cause we would be extremely grateful. We will also be taking plenty of medical supplies including bandages, antiseptic wipes and mild pain killers to help restock the pharmacy as well as learning materials for the primary school which is on site. Should you wish to donate something for us to take please get in contact. 

The coming trip to The Gambia will be to extend the medical centre, which services 8 small villages situated in a place called Bonsa. This centre provides essential medical care for the villages as the closest hospital is too far away. They provide a drop in clinic as well as general care and a safe place for maternity care. By extending this centre more lives can be saved.
