Elizabeth Jeanne Hackwelder was an exuberant, joyful, beautiful angel of an 8 year old who fought a brave and courageous battle during her time on Earth. Elizabeth was diagnosed with ZTTK Syndrome, an extremely rare genetic disorder, in 2015. This diagnosis created many obstacles for her, but never dulled her shine. Elizabeth spent a lot of time at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, and their Child Life Department was nothing short of generous and supportive of her and her family. We want to honor Elizabeth's memory this holiday season by giving back to the Child Life Department so that they are able to continue to provide every family with exceptional care.
