On 11th July 2010 Caroline McGeary, Nigel Welford, Steve Bulbeck, Hijaz Kaleel and Madeline Pearson are donning their running gear and showing us what they are made of by taking part in the 2010 London 10k Run to raise money for London's Air Ambulance service.

The London Air Ambulance (LAA) doctors, pilots, paramedics and fire crew bring vital pre-hospital care to victims of major trauma within the M25 and save thousands of lives every year.  In March 2010 they became the first air ambulance in the UK to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week "helping to keep Londoners safe day and night, every day of the year".  While some of the funding for the service is provided by the London Ambulance Service, the LAA need to raise in excess of £1,000,000 each year in order to keep this vital service running.

Which is where your support for the team comes in.  Training is well underway and going very well so hopefully there will be no need to call the LAA out when they reach the finish line!!  Every little helps so anything you can spare to show your support is appreciate by the runners and all the team at LAA.
