Story
On 13th October I will be sleeping out overnight at Wembley Stadium with 90 people from the business community.
I am taking part to help raise funds for the Cardinal Hume Centre. As a Trustee of the Centre I know how hard the staff and volunteers work to help tackle poverty and homelessness in London. Last year over 1,700 people came to the Centre looking for help, advice and support as times became tougher for them and their families.
While sleeping out for one night clearly does not compare to the reality for those people who face it day in and day out, we hope this act of solidarity will help highlight the issue of poverty and raise funds for the Centre's work.
Any support you can give will be fantastic - and will help inspire me to brave the elements in my sleeping bag!
Thank you.
