Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraising page. 

I will be challenging myself to complete a non stop 24 hour charity livestream and all donations and money which i make over the course of the 24 hours will be sent to the Jersey Hospice Care. The date is still to be confirmed it will be taking place on the 26th of January at 9am through until 9am Sunday the 27th.

Any type of support is greatly appreciated as this is a very close to heart cause and charity to me personally and my family. 

On the 2nd of January 2019 i lost my Nan who was battling for a long time with a lung condition / disease. 

She was truly the best Nan i could have asked for and i truly mean that as i type this. She did everything for me, gave me everything which i am so grateful for and i'll never will be able to show it or put it into words how much i did appreciate everything my Nan did for me. 

Now, moving onto the chosen charity. Jersey Hospice Care did the most incredible job in keeping my Nan alive and well to the best of their abilities. Each time she had to go into the hospice they were so nice and caring towards her and made her time there nice and relaxing to try keep her going and sadly it eventually came to an end.

Our services

All our services are provided free of charge.

Our Specialist Palliative Care team provides support, care, advice and complex symptom management across Hospice, in the community and in the hospital.

The In Patient Unit is a specialist medical unit, offering 24/7 365 days a year medical support. Patients may stay for assessment, symptom management, respite and end of life care. Care is delivered by skilled and experienced nurses and doctors, working with other members of the multi-disciplinary team, to ensure a holistic approach to the care of patients and their family.

Our Day Hospice enriches patient’s lives through individual and group activities. We offer patients and their carers personalised support, whilst empowering them to manage their conditions and prevent unnecessary complications.

The Emotional and Bereavement Service provides free, confidential and person-centred support to any islander who has experienced bereavement. The team also supports patients and their families in a proactive way with the emotional impact of knowing someone is going to die. We have extended our Emotional Support services to support children with life limiting illness, as well as their families.

We provide a comprehensive range of rehabilitative palliative therapies, supporting people to live as well as possible, for as long as possible. As well as physiotherapy, we offer complementary therapies that support the well-being of patients and their families and provide treatment and management for all patients experiencing Lymphoedema caused by cancer or its treatment.

Finally, i just want to add, ANY type of donation that gets made through this page is appreciated from myself and my family. 

Not going to lie, i was really nervous and anxious to create this and post it everywhere as livestreaming isn't exactly the most common thing and people will always judge others for doing something different. I have a true passion for gaming and creating content and this is the best way for me to give back to Jersey hospice Care for the amazing support they gave my Nan as she was approaching her final few months / weeks / days.
