We help free innocent people to reform the criminal justice system

Story

We are a group of Cambridge University students who produce comedy shows to raise money for charity and take it to members of the local community who normally wouldn't get to see theatre. With the COVID-19 pandemic, we cannot do the latter but we've been working long-distance on two audio productions this academic term that will be uploaded onto our YouTube Page which you can access here: https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCg6v83D5mDqfqzkVuBsn-dw , and broadcast on CamFM radio. We are hoping you can spare a few pounds to help us support The Innocence Project.

The Innocence Project, founded in 1992 by Peter Neufeld and Barry Scheck at Cardozo School of Law, exonerates the wrongly convicted through DNA testing and reforms the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice. So far, the project had freed 232 innocent people, 10% of whom had been sentenced to death, and all of whom together totalled 3,555 YEARS of wrongful imprisonment. See their website to find out more: https://innocenceproject.org/

About the charity

The Innocence Project's mission is to free the staggering number of innocent people who remain incarcerated, and to bring reform to the system responsible for their unjust imprisonment.
