Myself, Clare, Bobbie and Will from the Cancer Services Team at UHPNT are running this year’s Plymouth 10K to raise both money and awareness for such an incredible local charity. They do so much to support the improvement of the Cancer pathways our jobs are centred around tracking and have, like many others, not had the support from the fundraising they’d usually have because of Covid.

More specifically, these are the current projects they are supporting:

– Over £14,500 has been given in Patient Hardship Grants in the last 12 months

– Two specialist nurse training posts

– Project to increase radiotherapy capacity

– Lung Cancer project to improve diagnosis
