Yikes!  Bikes!  Nikes!  Wake me when this nightmare is over.  The blarney of good friends Jesse and Sharron way back in January ("no, we really aren't competitive, just do it in your own good time...") got me into this team triathlon around Blenheim Palace on June 5th.  For my sins I am doing the cycle leg, 20 kilometres of undulating pastures green.  (I am sure there will be some rare breed sheep wandering around as unbilled hazards.)  I am now trying to get the most out of it, since I can't get out of it!  Please help make my saddle soreness worthwhile.  Your kind support will provide vital funding for the Riding for the Disabled programme (RDA) at the Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre.  The Pony Centre is a small oasis in urban London, and RDA is proven to be powerful physiotherapy, developing core balance, strength and coordination.  Less obviously, the bonding between animal and human can be equally as therapeutic.  Thank you for helping to keep this precious resource available to those who will most benefit from it.
