Story
I am walking the Three Peaks Challenge in 24 hours on August 17th/18th 2012 to raise money for the Birmingham Children's Hospital Cancer Centre.
As many of you may know, 3 year old Ted Rogers from Herefordshire is suffering from leukaemia and is being treated at Birmingham Children's Hospital.
The outstanding treatment and care that this Hospital gives is critical to a road of recovery for Ted and many other young children and teenagers.
The Cancer ward is over 30 years old and demand has outgrown capacity - it needs our help to update it. Unfortunatley 1 in 500 children will develop cancer by the age of 15.
There are 3 other members in my team doing the challenge - please have a look at our website and kindly donate to their chosen charities if you so wish. http://bit.ly/PFKIYo
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Please give generously so we can make a difference to the lives of many families who may depend upon this Hospital Unit
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
