I'll just explain a little about my challenge..........

Well, I'm going to attempt the Lyke Wake Walk,  It's  a 40 mile test of endurance across the North Yorkshire Moors from Osmotherley to Ravenscar. My task is to complete the walk within 24 hours - I start the walk 12 midnight on the 14th May 2010 and I am hoping to be finished around 7pm the following day. I've been doing some research on this walk - I contacted the Lyke Wake Walk Club who kindly sent me some tips which will I'm sure be very helpful on route,and a sentence which read...." I've known grown men end up in tears after this challenge" when I read that, I thought oh no!  what the heck have I taken on here!  however, these thoughts disappear when I see the really kind generous donations flooding in.  The messages of support have been wonderful, this makes me feel so very proud to be a part of this challenge.

( I'm giving up a party in Portal Nous Mallorca to do this challenge I'll have you all know! so come on dig deep!!)

One of my chosen charities is MNDA (Motor Neurone Disease) this disease is so sad, and the effects it has on the patient and their carers is so cruel, my heart goes out to them.
