I'm aiming to walk/cycle/kayak 100 miles* in July, as part of the Campus Project's drive to walk a mile for every young person we have supported since starting (total 275 miles). That's £100 if I raise £1 per mile!

WHY? We currently receive only £2.80 per resident per week for extras like shared meals or social activities, so we are raising funds to take the boys for day trips and to have fun when their lives can be quite stressful.

WHAT IS CAMPUS? Campus is a supported housing unit for 16-18 year old male unaccompanied asylum seekers and refugees. We support the residents with housing and general care e.g. guidance in independent living skills, community integration, educational opportunities, access to healthcare etc.

* Not including miles I would normally be doing for my regular routine e.g. cycling to work, cycling to pre-planned events. These are all intentional 'exceptional' miles.
