Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After a passing comment a few weeks ago I've found myself a last-minute substitute for the Highland Cross.  It's an event I've always wanted to do, but preferably with a bit more than 7 days preparation!  It's on this Saturday and I plan to forget about getting a fast time and instead soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the day - although if the midges are out they may help improve my time!! 

This year's benefiting charities are:  Lochleven Community Minibus (they provide a wheelchair accessible minibus service - but they need ro replace their bus), Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland, Birchwood Highland (improving the quality of life for peole in the Highlands with mental health issues) and The Seagull Trust (take disabled people out on cruises on Scottish canals - but they need a new boat!).
