Story
I am committed to this 20 mile Night Hike in memory of the dear friends and family members lost to me through cancer. Please be generous in your sponsorship as all of us never know when we ourselves might need a "Maggie's Cancer Caring Centre". Thank you for your support. Celia
I am going to walk 20 miles with these lovely ladies on Friday 17th September in memory of Mark and to raise money for Maggie's cancer charity. When Mark was ill we both benefitted greatly from Maggie's in terms of support and a calm refuge within Charing Cross Hospital. We all know people who have won and sadly lost their battles with cancer. Maggie's provides support and information for the person who is ill as well as for their loved ones. There are centres around the country and also on-line support. If you can spare just a few pounds it will be going to a really good cause. Thank you very much, Clare x
We are going to be walking 20 miles, yes, 20 MILES!! Please find it in your hearts to help us hit our target. Maggie's is a great cause, which has a real and direct practical impact on people's lives. If there is anything that can make the journey through cancer that little bit easier, then it must be worth supporting. Mark was a dear friend and is sadly missed. We are walking in his memory, but also in memory of all our loved ones who have suffered from this terrible disease. A big Thank You for all your consideration and support. Julie x
I am walking through the night next to my dear friend Clare, supporting her in the loss of her husband Mark to cancer. Clare and Mark journeyed back and forth to Charing Cross hospital and the Maggie's Centre there supported them. It was able to offer a refuge from the ravages of cancer treatment and ward life. Mark could have a quality to his time set in real comfort away from the hustle and bustle of the ward. Helen x
