I am raising funds for the BIRD Charity, who have helped our family enormously. When Edward was at pre-school, he was extremely reluctant to talk to anyone outside his home. BIRD’s speech and language therapist, Estelle, visited Edward’s pre-school & spoke with the staff on how to encourage Edward to engage more with staff & other children. Pre-school were fab and implemented Estelle’s suggestions & the difference was amazing! Edward started to join in with other children, then whisper, then chat to nursery staff. He grew & grew in confidence to the point where staff had to ask him to settle down one day because he was being a bit giddy with his friends! 

Edward is at school now, & BIRD supported us with suggestions as to how to make this transition as easy as possible. He loves school & has settled well. All of BIRD’s support was free, they depend on funding to do the work that they do & for which our family is hugely grateful. Please help me support them!
