Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Hannah and Charlie ran the London Marathon on 17 April 2011, in a bid to raise as much money as possible for Great Ormond Street. The charity is close to their heart because Charlie's cousin Edward was given the best possible start to his life there.
Edward's condition was never diagnosed and he had to spend his life in full time care until he died in 2006, aged 22; he had lived far longer than even the most optimistic doctor predicted and defied doctors by developing limited abilities to both walk and talk. It was always a pleasure to see him, he was an altruist who was ever keen to bring cheer to those around him.
Please help us to raise a big amount for the hospital so that the high standard of care of children can continue and others can have the quality of life that they deserve.
