As a child I was a young carer for my great nana who lived lived way into her eighties.  Being a young carer was one of the hardest and most straining things that I have ever been apart of.  This charity supported me by enabling me to escape the strain at home, and enjoy myself with other people who also cared for somebody. I was able to talk to people who could empathise in a way that nobody else could, it gave me the confidence to carry on caring for my nana ,without getting angry or frustrated with myself when I felt I was useless, or unable to help her. And so this is the reason why I would be delighted if you could help me to make it possible for other carers to receive support. After all it is me jumping out of a plane, not you!!
