In June 2018 I will be travelling to Tanzania with the Charity Go Make A Difference (GO MAD) to work in the town of Musoma for 2 weeks. The Duchess of Rutland is taking a team of us from Belvoir Castle to make a difference and help improve the lives of the community in Tanzania. 

My time will be spent in rural villages to construct small building projects such as water tanks, goat sheds, toilets & other building projects for local community. I will be teaching basic health education & sanitation to schools and village members. 

The money I raise will go to the building and health projects we carry out. This goes directly onto materials, medicine, hospital visits, tools and wages for our local skilled men who help us with the building work.

I will be delivering first aid, weekly hospital runs, care for the sick and get involved in community health awareness days. Helping in the local orphanage and run various education initiatives will also be a huge part of my trip.  

Donates made to sponsor me for my time in Tanzania will go straight to the amazing charity Go MAD who really are making such a difference!
