Story

Well it is now done! Really pleased that I ran the whole of the Birmingham half marathon in a time of 2hrs and 20mins. So pleased with all the brilliant support and to have raised so much money for Headlines.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 24th October 2010 I will be attempting to run 13 miles in the Birmingham 1/2 marathon. I have never done any serious running before I started my training in July but am determined to run all the way round. I am running for a charity called Headlines which provides support for children which suffer from Craniosynostosis. This is a birth defect in which 1 or more of t/fibrous joints (cranial sutures) between the skull bones closes too soon. The skull cannot expand normally with growth of t/brain, & assumes an abnormal shape. Craniosynostosis requires surgery. I am hoping that you will all be very generous and help support this charity by sponsoring me.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
