Myself & 3 friends are Challenging ourselves to the Great Wall of China walk next March.  We are all walking for different charties as we all have our own reasons.

I suffered from cervical cancer many years ago and am lucky enough to still be here to tell the tale.  Other women are not so lucky so over the years I have tried to raise awareness for many charirties as without these the research would not be able to happen and people like me would not be so lucky.

Did you know that every year a million women worldwide are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer. This figure is just 200,000 fewer than the number of women who are diagnosed with breast cancer, yet the breast cancer survival rate in the UK is 80% compared with under 35% of women who survive a gynaecological cancer.

The Eve Appeal is determined to improve these grim statistics by funding vital research that will help save women's lives not only in the UK but throughout the world, and they need our support.
