I am supporting the Ida Bass kidney foundation named after the mother of my neighbour Sailey Flastrud.  The charity support kidney care in Gambia and works closely with the Ministry of Health there to develop new services and improve outcomes for people with kidney disease.

I am an overweight, tired, lazy and grumpy old man but will be dragging myself round the streets of London in the British 10k on the 15th July and would be grateful for your support for this great cause.  Please remember I have been running round the streets of East London while small children have pointed and said mummy, look at the fat man running.  That at least must be worth £5.
