I have taken up the challenge of running the Brighton marathon in September for a wonderful cause.  This may well be the death of me as I was a last minute entry so I only have 6 months to get from the unfittest I have ever been to the fittest but as I say it’s for a wonderful cause and worth all the hard work if the donations come flying in.

If you haven’t heard of square pegs below is a brief description of the great work they carry out.

Square pegs provide opportunities for vulnerable, socially isolated people with learning disabilities and autism to be involved in high quality Arts based groups, projects and performances. This allows people to be engaged in purposeful activity where they can build friendships and feel a real sense of belonging. We use drama, music and creative based methods to build confidence and self-esteem, develop social communication skills and other transferable skills so that everyone can achieve and maintain positive wellbeing and be their best self.
