It is on my bucket list to walk the inca trail to Machu Picchu in Peru, and if I can raise some cash for the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) that will be a special bonus. The walk is only about 47km but at high altitude which will test my ticker, and with some steep climbs and descents. Any discomfort I feel is dwarfed by the challenges of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). I am delighted to walk for NRAS, one of the best patient organisations in the world for any disease, and very deserving of our support. The help they provide to people with RA is invaluable, and they cannot do this without generous donations. Thank you for any cash you can spare which will all go to NRAS, and none to my expedition which I am funding (because i will enjoy it in a masochistic type of way).
