Headway Worcestershire supports people who have suffered an acquired brain injury, their families and carers. With three day centres and a team of outreach workers we help clients across the whole of Worcestershire with daily living skills.

Story

I work for CM2000 and one of the
charities that use our technology, Headway Worcestershire, have challenged us to spend 30 hours in the Peak District ‘Surviving the Wild’ to raise money for brain injury survivors. I’ll spend the weekend of 13-14 May trekking, abseiling, scrambling, cliff jumping and wild camping – all designed to push participants out of their comfort zone! CM2000 are covering the costs and helping me towards my fundraising goal but I still need to raise vital funds for the charity. To give you an idea of why Headway Worcestershire is so important, in 2016 they delivered 9,500 home and community appointments, supported 76 people through 1824 activity sessions and helped 136 survivors achieve their goals and reduce support. With our help they will be able to continue their crucial work to improve the lives of people affected by brain injury through support groups, outreach support for daily activities and rehabilitation.
