This year we have pledged to out do the previous 3 years and we aim to raise £10,000 for prevent breast cancer.

Backstory: in January 2020 Rosh found a lump in her breast and was diagnosed with breast cancer. We consider ourselves so lucky - it was caught early and treatment was minimal (fertility treatment, lumpectomy, radiotherapy, hormone therapy for 5 years) if you know us you’ll know our why… our nieces!…your children, all future generations- we pledged to raise as much money and support for this charity to make breast cancer a thing of the past for them.

Unlike many cancer charities, we’re focused on preventing, rather than curing. Promoting early diagnosis, screening and lifestyle changes, we believe we can stop the problem before it starts. And being situated at the only breast cancer prevention centre in the UK, we’re right at the front-line in the fight against the disease.’

This year the charity’s main focus is raising the much needed funds for the ‘National breast imaging academy’ and that is what we will be supporting with our fund raising efforts this year. Read more about the academy here;

After running London marathon and (Roisin saying NEVER AGAIN) we went on to run the Barcelona marathon… and this year we are taking on Paris!! Alongside this we will be hosting our annual charity fundraising ball - watch this space!
