I’m going to be running the Great Manchester 10k in May and I will be fundraising for the Lullaby Trust, (formally the FSID) the charity dedicated to saving babies’ lives.

A family member recently suffered the loss of his baby sister, just days after her 3rd birthday. On the 19th of January, 6 days after celebrating her 3rd birthday, Rhianna sadly passed away in her sleep for unexplained reasons.

This is an awful thing to happen to any parent or family member, please donate as much as you can to help stop these deaths in future, nobody should have to go through what this family have endured.

As an added incentive for you to put your hands in your pockets, the person who donates the most in one single transaction can choose me a fancy dress costume to run in (I will buy the costume up to a value of £30). The only caveats are that the costume cannot be too cumbersome or too revealing (it’s a family event after all). The closing date for the biggest donation will be 13th May at 12:00pm, any donations received after then will not be eligible for the costume choosing.
