Story

As many of you may know in October last year Oli and I lost our Dad, who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in the year 2000.

When we were looking for a worthy charity to give the inevitable donations after Dad's death we found the MS Trust. They are a fantastic charity who work with The Health Service to support sufferers of MS as well as help fund scientific advances geared towards a cure for this awful and debilitating disease.

Oli and I were so impressed with the work these guys do that we mentioned that we should run the Great North Run in an effort to raise as much money as we can for them.

We were both suprised that, when mentioning this to friends, they wanted to run it with us. Indeed there are quite a few people who would have been on the team but were not able to get in!

We were also really happy when Suss, a childhood friend of ours decided to join us. His father passed away from the same disease when John was only a boy.

All the team members are trying to raise a minimum of £1,500 each to support this very worthwhile charity and any money we raise will be put into the projects we all deem to be the most worthwhile.

Thank you in advance and please wish us all the best for the big day. I think we might need it!
