Hi Guys,

Most of you that know me well will know that I am currently training for the London Marathon. In April me and my mum will be racing (dressed as 118 118) for the Alzheimer's Society. I have decided to raise money for this charity because unfortunately my nan has this disease. Any of you that have been affected by Alzheimers know how upsetting this is. My nan is one of the most caring and giving person I have ever met and this is a way to give my thanks back to her.

Alzheimer's is a disease that physically affects the brain and it is a form of dementia. One in 14 people over 65 will have the disease and one in 6 people over 80 will also have the disease. Yet still, there is no known reason as to what causes Alzheimer's.

So if anyone would like to donate (even as small as 50 pence) I would be very grateful.

In return I will set up a facebook page and update you guys on my training progress. I can also give you all hints and tips for beginner/intermediate runners. If any of you would love to run but just don't know where to start then talk to me! Anyone in the Telford/Nottingham Area I can also give you different running routes.
