This weekend (4/9/10) myself, Wayne Thomas, Andy Lowe, Anil Parkash and Dave Morris competed in the CARE New Media challenge which was made up of professionals from the Online Media community and our team representing BT went under the name of The SEO's (Slightly Elderly & Overweight!)

The event took place in the  , and consisted of an extreme hike, a bike ride from hell and canoeing challenge in Windborn Lake – all to be completed in a target time of 10 hours. NOTHING could have prepared us for the pain we went through on the day and it's fair to say we completely under estimated just how hard it would be but 3 things kept us going:

1. We were raising money with your support for a great cause and therefore paying forward some of the good fortune life has given us.

2. The scenery was truly breathtaking - nature at it's best

3. The 5 of us bonded and supported each other through pain, self doubt and exhaustion .... and had some great laughs whenever we caught a breath!
