The Harvey Hext Trust provides specialist bespoke wooden Memory boxes for bereaved children.Memory boxes promote positive mental health in children by offering a safe environment for them to explore their emotions. We aim to give children the tools to openly talk about their bereavement.We want to help children to understand they are not alone in their grief and eventually to be able to celebrate the life of the person who has died and smile when they think of them.Working with many bereavement services across the UK we have supported hundreds of children, and with your help we will continue to offer our vital services to bereaved children.

As well as being great people who we have seen doing amazing work for years, in the midst of Covid in 2020 the Trust sadly also supported our family directly.  Everyone was so grateful for their help at such a difficult time. 

Chris and Sarah are both registered to run with Team Hext but it looks like Sarah’s joints are not going to play ball - her contribution will be cheer leading, fund raising and copious amounts of swimming in freezing water! Chris might just be able to limp round though.
