After nearly 40 years as a teddy boy with a quiff I have decided to shave my hair for charity. I will be shaving my hair on friday 3rd of october 2014 for ALIVE specialist day services and Cancer Research. I have chosen these two charities as they are very close to my heart.

As most of you will know I have been a teddy boy since I was 13 years old!! Im now 52 so nearly 40 years my quiff has been a big part of my life! It will be a very hard thing for me to do but one I will be very proud of so please please dig deep for both these charities!

ALIVE are trying to raise money for a specialist hoist for their hydrotherapy swim spa that enables people with disabilities to do rehabilitation exercises or physiotherapy.The pool is heated like a hot tub for relaxation and muscle spasm relief and it has swim jets to allow people to swim against for resistance exercise and therapy. The pool has therapy lights and MP3 player for music. 

I am also raising money for Cancer Research as many people i know and love have been affected by cancer in one form or another. I have seen my Dad and my sister both fight cancer and they both showed so much strength and courage. Thank fully treatment was a success for my dad and sister but for many others it isnt the same story.
